Sushi in Bushwick. Soon after their "grand opening" late this past winter, a delivery menu was placed on our doorstep. But we were a little wary of ordering it over the phone. It turns out to be a Japanese-run place that also sells Chinese food, assumingly to maintain good business in the neighborhood. This is certainly not the best sushi to be had in Brooklyn. The eel was soggy, the rice a little gummy. But the salmon was fresh, and good bento deals can be had. Of course the heavily breaded shrimp tempura was more like something you'd get in Coney Island than Kyoto, but that's not neccesarily a bad thing. If you crave sushi, but can't leave the neighborhood, it's worth it.
